About me

I am a Welsh, LGBTQ+, working-class, neuro-divergent, female writer and illustrator based in North Wales. This may seem like a lot of needless labels, however, all of it influences my art, giving it a unique, diverse, and under-represented voice; a voice I am passionate about representing and developing.

I have been illustrating children’s books exclusively for over three years and have been fortunate to work on over 20 books. 

I am very excited to be focusing on the next steps of my career and taking all that I’ve been learning, both as an active member and  Co Network Organiser of SCBWI Wales, alongside countless courses, discussions, and critique groups to develop my writing and to work on my own stories. I have been very fortunate to receive funding from Arts Council Wales for my professional development, to research disability awareness in character design, and to represent Welsh culture. I have also been recognised with a scholarship to the SCBWI Winter Conference and shortlisted for a Slushpile challenge. 

Alongside my two graphic novels, I am also developing 3 picture book stories.
